Overview of the care pathway
We can divide the coronary artery disease care pathway into 2 phases:
- Entry event (diagnosed with stable angina, CABG performed for asymptomatic CAD or treated for ACS, without PCI)
- Long term follow-up
The backbone of the care pathway is summarized in the figure below, for this flow we relied mainly on the ICHOM standard set of Patient-Centered Outcome Measures for Coronary Artery Disease.
